The small growers we work with work and live on their land themselves. Most of them plan to pass their vineyards on to their family. They are therefore dedicated to adopting sustainable practices. If they use chemical treatments at all they use the very least amount possible. Some of them are going to the extent of achieving organic certification - a complex and time consuming process. For certification you need to show that no chemicals have been used in the vineyard for 3 years.
Chateau Montfin has been certified for some years. Domaine des Pampres d'Or achieved it in 2017 . Domaine Trilles is in the second year of the process.
