Bordeaux makes some of the world’s greatest wines - with prices to match. We have found some great wines that don't break the bank - although some of them are not inexpensive. Our Bordeaux range is quite small, but we are proud of the wines we have.

Bordeaux wines are especially popular at Christmas - so we've taken in some new wines we think you will like.

Travel tips

The city of Bordeaux is beautiful, especially now they have renewed the area by the river. The Bar a Vin run by the CIVB is a great place to try bordeaux wine by the glass with a plate of cheese or charcuterie (

The Cite de vin is a fantastic museum about the world of wine. In fact the term museum doesn't really do it justice. It's an experience of interactive and video exhibits. Enjoy a glass in the roof-bar.

The famous Chateaux of the Medoc are spectacular but if you haven’t got an invitation to one of these head for Saint Emilion. This town is one of the most characterful in all of Europe. The countryside is beautiful, and you can easily pass by famous and spectacular Chateaux.
