Domaine Trilles Pedra Lluna 2016, Cotes de Roussillon Les Aspres AOP. 15%
A huge wine. Deep and full in colour and flavour. The rich plum and cherry flavours really fill the mouth. Very long with spicy notes. Made from very old parcels of bush vine Mourvedre. Aged in oak for 12 months. Great with rich casseroles.

Make up your own mixed case Vegan This is what The Wine Gang said about the 2013 vintage As wonderfully wild and dramatic as the Roussillon scenery, this fabulously deep, dark concentrated old-vine Mourvèdre-based red has a bass note of meaty richness to go with the vivid black brambly fruit and notes of sweet spice, paprika and garrigue herbs. Lots of textural interest in the firm but ripe and supple tannins, and no bruiser despite its 15% alcohol. A winter warmer par excellence. Goes with: Barbecues, Braise, lamb shanks, Casseroles and stews, Red meat and dark game
